Our Worth

Often it is easy to doubt our worth. We look to ourselves and see we are weak an feeble.

You see we should instead look to Jesus. Our worth to God can be seen in what God has done.

You see that God has paid the debt for our sin at a great price to himself in the sin offering of his own son.

We often think we do not have worth and in sense it is true. We are sinners in rebellion against God.

But our worth is what God sees in us not what we see. God sees us as his children. He sees us as fellow heirs with Jesus to the kingdom of God.

It is sort of unbelievable if God had not said it: And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together. (Romans 8:16-18 KJV).

The worth is not in what we see in ourselves but what God sees. It is not about us but about God in the end.

He decrees this or that and it is so. The ultimate reality is that God's will not ours is what is final.

And God's will is that all who come to him will be saved. And all who come are adopted into his family as his sons and co-heirs with Christ.
