Often we will see pastors or Christians try to market Christianity in ways to draw attention. They try to grab peoples attention in a "shocking" way and then relate to scripture.
Maybe we would simply do better to preach the gospel of grace found in the cross. To dwell on the hard says of Jesus of what it means to follow him.
If Christians wants to "shock" the world then the simplest way is to expound Christianity as it truly is in all of its glory.
