Loyalty is a virtue often forgotten in the current day. It is a difficult virtue to practice as loyalty requires multiple people to practice the virtue together. Loyalty is an a sense a communal virtue.
We can seek to be loyal, but if others are not willing to have loyalty then true loyalty cannot exist. We should still see value in seeking to be loyal people in the world.
Often we must do the best we can in the world. To try to see what we can do rather than to give up and say that nothing can be done.
