Often we feel issue with God's promises. God's promises seem to not be being fulfilled.
The issue of course is with our stance and perspective. We do not see God's promises in the light of eternity and we lack the patience to look past the moment.
We often err when we read scripture because we do not see that God's promises will be fulfilled, but not according to our timeline. Some promises will not be fulfilled until the age to come. If we have eyes to see then we can see the truth in God's words.
