At times we are tempted to think Scripture is hard to understand. There are certainly passages which challenge us.
It is important when approaching Scripture to focus on what we do understand. We can always seek greater understanding of many mysteries, however, we should never feel that Scripture is a mystery to us.
God has revealed a multitude of truths about himself and the world to us in the bible. If we do not understand all of scripture that should not discourage us from understanding and learning what we can.
As we grow more and more of the message of scripture will become clear to us.
