Together we are Strong

Alone we are weak, but together we are strong. The bible tells us that working together we are strong.

Even if we feel alone in the work of God if it is God's work then God is with us. We can do all things by the power of God.

If God is for us we are on a good path indeed. Too often we worry what others will think. We let others persuade us what the will of go is or is not.

Often we are weak because we let others dissuade us from doing the will of God. Following God is all we need to do. If God approves of us that we have succeeded in life.

The standard of our success is our faithfulness to God. If we have followed Jesus then all else pales in comparison.

The Inconvenience of the Cross

The bible makes it clear the infinite value of right relationship with Jesus. Faith is work inconveniences small and large and even tribulations.

Often the bible does not seem inconvenient because we do not let the bible speak to us. We pretend the bible is speaking to others and do not hear what it says to us.

To follow Jesus is the greatest calling one can have. We are all called to follow Jesus every day. How we are called to follow Jesus may very greatly, but we are all called to build up the kingdom.

Faith is joyous. Faith is inconvenient. We can embrace the joy and the hardship as we follow Jesus every day.
