then every person who earns money should be dreaming how much more, how much
more can I give to Christ, the cause of the outreached peoples, and the

But nowhere in the Bible does it say that tithing is mandatory. Yes, God wants us to give freely - but it is still HIS money, so we should be giving to bring Him glory. Sometimes this means giving money to charity rather than church. Or helping out a friend who's in a bind. And, yes, sometimes it means putting money away for yourself in order that you not be a burden on others if you can avoid it.
The "Christian" attitude towards tithing has been so influenced by the early Church of England. I think it's time to get back to the Bible on the issue.
Tithing...should be a want to please God, it's not something you just do because everyone says to. It's a desire to give back to Him, for what He has done for you. And you shouldn't have the mind set if I give 10% or more to God, then how much is He going to give back to me. Because He does not owe you anything, He died for you. I think that's worth a lot more then $10-$100.00 of tithing. I don't know much, but just make sure you heart is in it first. Pray about it, see what God lays on your heart. ~ Peace
