In life and theology there are a great cloud of witnesses who speak truth about God. Often we think of Jesus or Paul or the other apostles.
Sometimes great minds in the church who often lived out what they wrote and spoke with such passion.
Often though the most important cloud of witnesses are those next door. The friend in church with the kind word.
Sometimes we are the most important part of the cloud of witness for another person. Maybe we do not know it but sometimes we may say something of great significance either good or bad to someone.
You see we are all part of the great tapestry of salvation history. We all have a part for good or bad weather we know are part or not.
