Value

In scripture there is a parable of a pearl of great price where a man sells everything he has to get the pearl.  This is the way knowing Jesus is.

Very few people are asked to leave everything to follow Jesus, but it is the fair price.  You see to have Jesus as our God, friend, and brother and to lose everything else is a good deal.

We of course are foolish people who stumble day by day and God loves us.  You see his love surpasses human understanding.  He loves us against reason and not because of it.  This is the depth of his love that he choose us while we were still enemies.
